My very first award

Thank you so much for the award, Taylor! It's very sweet of you. :)

I don't have many readers, but I want to give this award out to a few people anyway. (And hopefully they haven't received it yet!)

I am awarding it to:
Lizzy at Tinker Girl's Blog
Jen at Blessed Femina
Jenna at Feminine Farmgirl

Thanks again, Taylor!

Now, something unrelated:
I hope it's all right to ask, but if you could spare a prayer for my grandfather, that would be so wonderful of you. He has shingles right now, and he's been in an awful lot of pain for weeks now, with no end in sight. I trust in God's plan, but it breaks my heart that he's suffering so. Any thoughts or prayers would be so appreciated.

God bless,

It's beginning to feel like Winter!

My goodness, did it ever snow yesterday! The snow came down so quickly and so suddenly that everyone was sent home (yes, unfortunately I must work at this time)--in this part of the country, it's highly unusual that a business will close when it snows. We're so used to such amounts that everyone goes about their daily life even if the snow piles up and it's -40C or -50C!

Everyone made it home safely, thank goodness, and bundled up with warm drinks and movies. Looking out my window this morning, I must admit I was pleased to see a pretty, frozen world of white! Nothing feels more like Winter and Christmas to me than snow does. :) Though I do not care for the cold, I do so love how beautiful the snow is.

Is anyone else getting snow right now?

God Bless,

It's almost here~

A very happy December to you all! :)

There are just so many things I am looking forward to this month: baking for loved ones, giving lovely gifts and watching their faces, spending time with family, eating yummy food, and most of all celebrating the birth of our Savior.

I am so thankful to have brought the Lord back into my heart, and I look forward to the days to come. It is so wonderful to me that it's happened in time for this beautiful month.

And one more thing to be thankful for: Lizzy and Taylor--you truly have no idea how inspiring and touching your words were. Thank you both so very much. :)

God Bless,

First post!

This is my first blog post, and I'm not quite sure what to say!
Years ago I attended a Catholic school, and the Lord was very much a part of my life.

But then I strayed from Him, and now I feel like something is missing. I know I want and need to go back, and I feel very at peace with that.

I know so little, and I have no guidance, but I hope that maybe I will find someone who can show me the way.

It's so nice to meet you all! :)
